The Snyder High School Varsity Football Team chose Cari Truelock as an honorary captain for last Friday's game against Lubbock High. This special recognition was initiated by the team captains, who wanted to send a powerful message to Cari and our entire community—that 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔.
In a show of unity, the players have had bracelets made with Cari’s name, which they proudly wore during the game. The team recognizes that many face challenges, some not easily seen or understood. Their hope is that this evening served as a reminder to treat everyone with kindness and respect.
