Summer School

Dates:  May 28 - June 27, Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Requirements to attend summer school:  

  1. Elementary - common assessment data/teacher recommendation 

  2. Junior High - Fail 2 core subjects

  3. High School - Fail core class - credit recovery 

  4. Less than 90% attendance

Sports camps are designed to be fun and productive, but Tiger Athletics prioritizes academics first. Therefore, if your child is required to enroll in Snyder ISD Summer School, they will not be accepted in any of our sports camps (if the camp time is during the respective summer school hours). We strive for success with all our student-athletes, and the student part comes first.

Sharpen your skills over the summer! Snyder ISD offers camps and workouts for students of all ages.

If your student will be attending Snyder Junior High School or Snyder High School and is interested in signing up for athletics for the first time, please visit this page to learn about the steps to join Snyder Athletics. You must have a current physical on file in order to participate in the Snyder ISD athletics. Athletes, please take care of this as soon as possible. WHERE: Lady Tiger weight room (next to the main high school gym)

DROP OFF: Student center parking lot (behind VISITOR football stands down Tiger Drive)

ENTRY: Back hallway of main gym or weight room

**Athletes must attend the SaC workouts to be able to attend skills workouts (sport specific)

  1. Bring your own water.

Tennis Camp

June 26, 27, 28, 29th, 2023

5th-9th grade from 8 am to 10 am

1st-4th grade from 10 am to noon

Cost: $50 per camper $25 for each additional camper from the same family
(please fill out a form for each camper).

Money is due on the first day of camp. Please make checks out to Tamara Hale.
For early payment contact Coach Hale or come to the office at the tennis courts.

Campers will receive a t-shirt.

Summer Meals

Children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive — even when school is out. With the Summer Meal Programs, children and teens ages 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost at any participating meal site.

Breakfast and Lunch is available at all four Snyder ISD campuses Monday through Thursday, May 30th - June 30th.

  • Breakfast 7:30am - 8:30 am

  • Lunch 11:30 am - 12:30 am

No form of identification is required; kids simply need to show up.
